1. What the AI features do
The Service uses AI models to analyse site photographs, blueprints and PDFs, walkthrough videos, and text you provide, and to generate quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, scopes of work, schedules, summaries, email drafts and answers to questions about your business data.
2. Not professional advice
AI output is informational and assistive only. It is not engineering, architectural, construction, legal, accounting, tax, insurance or financial advice, and creates no professional relationship. It must not be used as a substitute for a qualified professional's review, a stamped drawing, a code compliance review or a site inspection.
3. Accuracy limits
- Models are probabilistic and can produce confident but incorrect results ('hallucinations').
- Measurements derived from photos, videos or drawings are approximations affected by camera angle, lighting, scale, resolution and drawing quality.
- Material prices, labour rates and availability change and may be out of date or region-inaccurate.
- The same input can produce different outputs on different runs.
- Outputs may not reflect the Ontario Building Code, municipal by-laws, permits or your contractual obligations.
4. Your responsibility to review
You must independently verify every AI output — quantities, dimensions, prices, tax treatment and written text — before relying on it, pricing work, sending it to a client, or including it in a quote, contract or invoice. Once you send an AI-assisted document, it is your document and your commitment to your client.
5. Data submitted to AI
Content you submit is sent to our AI providers for processing. Under our agreements, providers do not use it to train their foundation models. Do not submit information you are not permitted to disclose to a processor, and avoid sensitive personal information in prompts. See the Privacy Policy.
6. Allowances and availability
AI features are subject to plan allowances and pause when an allowance is exhausted. AI features depend on third-party providers and may be delayed, degraded or temporarily unavailable.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on AI output, including underestimated bids, missed scope, rework, penalties or lost profit. The limitation of liability in the Terms of Service applies.
