1. Our intellectual property
Codex Giga Technologies (operating entity — confirm registered name) owns or licenses all rights in the Service: source code, user interface, design system, prompts, templates, documentation, and the Codex Giga AI Business Platform name, logo and marks. Nothing in these policies transfers ownership to you. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or create derivative works from the Service, or remove proprietary notices, except as permitted by law.
2. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload or create in your workspace, including quotes, invoices, contracts, photographs, drawings and videos. You grant us only the limited licence described in the Terms of Service to host and process it for you.
3. AI-generated output
As between you and us, you may use AI output generated in your workspace for your business without further payment. AI output may not be original or protectable by copyright, and similar outputs may be generated for other users. You are responsible for ensuring your use of an output does not infringe a third party's rights.
4. Third-party materials
Architectural drawings, engineered plans, specifications, product images and manufacturer data are often protected. Upload them only if you own them, are licensed to use them, or your use is otherwise permitted by law.
5. Reporting infringement
Send a notice to copyright@codexgiga.app that complies with Canada's Copyright Act notice-and-notice regime (and, where applicable, the United States DMCA), including:
- Your name, address and electronic contact details.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- Identification of the material and its location in the Service.
- The date and time of the alleged infringement, if known.
- A statement of your good-faith belief that the use is not authorised.
- A statement that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
We forward compliant notices to the account holder as required, and may remove or disable access to material where appropriate. A user who believes material was removed in error may send a counter-notice with the same detail, which we may forward to the complainant.
6. Repeat infringers and trademarks
Accounts that repeatedly infringe are terminated. Trademark complaints should also be sent to copyright@codexgiga.app with the registration details and the alleged infringing use.
7. Feedback
If you send us suggestions or feedback, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use them without obligation to you.
